Frill House is an Atlanta-based, small-batch candle company making hand-poured "dopamine scents" for people who don't do minimalist.
Hi, I'm Victoria. Maximalist (no "less is more" over here), multi-hyphenate candlemaker and owner of Frill House Candle Company. I'm a mom and wife, a VP of Marketing and, according to CliftonStrengths, I always root for the underdog (as you should). I'm also a huge advocate for Autism awareness and inclusion.
Why "dopamine scents"?
You've heard of "dopamine decor" or "dopamine dressing." I call our scents dopamine scents. Something in your brain just shifts to happiness and relaxation when you are surrounded by good-smelling, fragrant candles (and not to mention supporting a small business).
I have always loved good scents. It just lifts my mood. When you enter a boutique hotel and they've even paid attention to the clean Santal or eucalyptus scent that hits you in the lobby, or when you come home from a long day and a relaxing, familiar Teakwood Mahogany scent hits your nose, it just takes you to another place. I want to give that to you through Frill House candles: quality, unique scents and candles with personality (I mean, have you noticed that the majority of candles are minimalist, black and white??).
Every Frill House candle is hand-poured in small batches here in the Atlanta area using a soy blend wax.
Meet the maker
My candlemaking journey began in February 2026, but my love of crafting and entrepreneurship started long before that. I've ventured into everything from selling vintage clothing at markets and online (wow...that 8 years flew by fast) to making and selling polymer clay earrings (shout out to all the "COVID hobbies"). I have done dozens of markets, and one of my favorite parts of that is meeting new and potential customers like you.
